Since 1875

Since 1875, the Cantarero grandparents began a small family business dedicated to grape growing and wine production in the La Mancha region. With effort, passion, and a deep connection to the land, they laid the foundation for what would become a tradition passed down through generations. What started as a modest project gradually grew, becoming a way of life rooted in a love for wine and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. In 1997, Román and Santiago Cantarero began developing their own project, which today has become a reality. Taking over from the previous generation, they started a new chapter toward the future—preserving the same tradition and quality. Thus, Vinos & Bodegas was born.

The goal was clear: to take wines from La Mancha to the world, showcasing their quality and competitive pricing in each market. From the beginning, the winery was designed with a strong focus on international markets, aiming to export our wines globally. Thanks to our knowledge of the diverse characteristics of different markets, we can offer clients exactly what they need—a product designed to meet their specific requests and preferences. That is why we have more than 70 brands, each with its own style and presentation, tailored to satisfy the tastes of customers in countries such as China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, Poland, Latvia, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Mexico, Africa and many more.

Vinos & Bodegas is located in the municipality of Socuéllamos.

Windmills and farmland define the region’s landscape, alongside a deeply traditional cuisine featuring dishes such as gachas manchegas, pisto, cocido manchego, migas, grilled lamb, caldereta de carne, sweet gachas, and rosquillas, among many others.
